We love that old adage “the early bird gets the worm” so, don’t delay if you can send any of these items through earlier rather than later – it’ll help us combat potential delays down the track. Here’s what we need: Font – provide the name, or details, or a copy of your preferred font (if you have one). Specific Colours – tell us the specific colours used in your marketing, website, and print materials. Most colours have a HEX number if they are web-based colours, for example: Red is #FF0000. Name & Title of the person speaking or the text you’d like to appear on screen (lower third) when someone starts speaking. [/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”3. Clothing: Plain block colours are best on camera (no checkers, stripes or wild patterns). Splashes of colour that match your company’s branding will also help to tie it all together. Bring a few clothing options to be safe.
Practice, practice, practice your script/content (even if you’re going to be using a teleprompter). Practice in front of the mirror and make sure you read aloud. Reading the words in your mind isn’t beneficial. Pretend like you’re in front of the camera and give it your best performance!

Post-Production and Final Delivery

Your videographer, or another member of the video team, will edit together your footage according to your instructions, as well as create the lower thirds. Once the first edit is complete; your Project Manager will send you the video where you are encouraged to suggest changes or small edits. The quicker you supply us your feedback, the sooner we can deliver your final video, which is usually 2-3 days (depending on staff availability) after we receive your notes. Please note that only one round of changes is included in your video package, any changes beyond that will include additional fees, so be sure to be all-inclusive with your comments. Once the second edit is complete and is to your liking, your Project Manager will be in touch with a downloadable link to your final video! And like that, our work is complete and you’re in possession of amazing videos that’ll serve your business well for many years to come. Who thought something so amazing could take such little time?

By thinking about the end result first, you’ll find it naturally paves the way to the right style and content to achieve your goal. Know your audience Who are the videos aimed at? If it’s a 60 year old business man, then funny gags might not be the right way to keep his attention. Mentally create an “avatar” (your ideal viewer) for this video. For example, “my ideal customer is a mid-forties, stay-at-home mum, with three kids and a pool.” It’s not about you Say what? Yeah, we know, but this is a really key point to get your head around. The most effective videos out there are ones that focus on what the potential customer wants, and what you and your business can do for them. Simplify the message One of the reasons you’ll get viewers is because it’s easier to watch a video than read text. Compound that with the fact everyone’s busy nowadays (so you don’t get their attention for very long), means the “less is more” motto will do wonders for your video.

However, once we’ve scheduled your shoot date, we turn away other work and schedule our staff accordingly, so if you make a request to change the date, some fees are applicable to ensure our costs are covered:

Rescheduling of Shoot – 2 business days or less of confirmed shoot date: An administrative fee of $150 will be charged in addition to your subscription payment. Rescheduling is dependent upon videographer and studio availability.

Rescheduling of Shoot – 3 business days or more before confirmed shoot date: No fee applicable, however rescheduling is dependent upon videographer and studio availability.

Cancellation of Subscription – before 3 month minimum subscription time period has elapsed: No refund available, the monthly subscription payment for in the month of cancellation is withheld.

Cancellation of Subscription – after 3 month minimum subscription time period has elapsed: An administrative fee of $150 will be withheld from your subscription refund, in addition to any other applicable fees:

Shoot not scheduled or completed, additional $150 withheld from your subscription refund; OR,
Shoot only completed, additional $250 fee withheld from your subscription refund; OR,
Shoot completed & edits underway (but not finished), additional $500 withheld from your subscription refund.
